Description: Colorless cubic crystalline crystalline or white crystalline powder. No odor, alkali. Dissolved in water, methanol, glycerin. Easy to moisture solution, exposed air and see light to precipitate iodine and turn yellow. Partial decomposition and partial sublimation (sublimation 551oC) when heated.

Application:

It is the raw material for the manufacture of inorganic iodides. Can be used as photo film and the bottom version of photosensitive emulsion. The pharmaceutical industry is used to manufacture phlegm and diuretics. It is also used as a chemical analysis reagent.
