Introduction

Lithium silicate, also known as lithium water glass, is a colorless to slightly yellow, odorless, transparent or semi-transparent weakly alkaline liquid with a pH value of 11-12. The relative density and viscosity of the product vary with the product model, and the relative density is between 1.16 and 1.20 (20°C). Liquid lithium silicate is soluble in water and alkaline solutions, but insoluble in alcohol and organic solvents, and frees gel when reacted with acids. It has self-drying property. After the water in the solution evaporates, a dry film that is insoluble in water can be formed, which is water irreversible.

Usage

Lithium silicate has a wide range of usage, such as the production of concrete curing agents, which are used in industrial floors, electronics, medical workshops, large supermarkets, parking lots and other places; the manufacture of inorganic coatings, which can be used in marine engineering, petroleum pipelines, ships, bridges and building materials Etc., especially for offshore projects, if inorganic zinc-rich paint is used, it is generally effective for more than 20 years of anti-corrosion. It is also suitable for inorganic architectural coatings (or mineral coatings); as a surface treatment agent, it can be used for the gloss protection and decoration of photovoltaic industry and handicrafts. Products, radios, plastic films, etc.; as an adhesive, it can be used for, asbestos, glass, TV phosphor, wood and automobile clutches, etc.; as a high-grade welding rod bonding agent, etc.
